Forest River Park: Twins Birthday Session
I recently photographed nine-year-old twin boys during their annual birthday photoshoot. Their mother contacted me to set up this year’s session, excited to capture another milestone. We met at Forest River Park, using the natural setting as a backdrop for our hour-long shoot. The photos show the strong bond between the brothers, their comfort in front of the camera, and their ability to follow directions well. This session also helped me realize that great photos don’t always have to be close-up portraits. It was one of my first times working with twins under sixteen, and I was very happy with the experience and the results.

May 2nd Wedding: Jennifer & Allan Wedding Session
I had the pleasure of working with family friends Jennifer and Allan Chinn, who had hired me as their official wedding photographer. I was truly honored to document their very special day. This wedding marked my first experience in this role and presented a significant opportunity to advance my skills. The event was exceptionally beautiful and served as a valuable project that enhanced my ability to collaborate closely with clients. This was the first project I managed that was fully client-directed. As a time-sensitive event, it required me to prioritize rapid and efficient troubleshooting. Also meeting clients' exact needs to clearly capture their visions.

Senior Photo Session: Charlie
This session in particular i want to highlight on due to being one of my first senior portrait assignments with a client outside of my family. She was very patient, and we shared a mutual understanding that this experience was new for both of us. It was her first time being photographed in this style, beyond the usual school portraits, and it was my first time directing a complete stranger on poses, working at an unfamiliar location, and figuring out camera angles that best suited her. Throughout the session, I learned how to help a shy individual feel more comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera with using some directional skills and relatable conversation, allowing her to open up naturally during our time together.
